The Breeders Select Foal Sale Ireland – October 6th
The Mayo Roscommon Breeders Group hold the first edition of ‘The Breeders Select Foal Sale Ireland‘ this Saturday 6th October at Mullingar Equestrian. The Irish Horse Gateway are the title sponsor of the inaugural event.

In total 54 foals have been selected at 5 venues nationwide while an embryo has also been included in this year’s catalogue. To maximize selection transparency the group have used the Horse Sport Ireland Linear Scoring system. This provides clearer results and feedback to the respective breeders. The foals were assessed and selected under the categories Showjumping, Eventing and Irish Draught.
On Saturday 6th October the timetable for the sale is as follows:
- Foal Viewing: 1.00 pm
- Stallion Expo: 2.30 pm
- Foal Sale: 4.00 pm
- Breeders Party: 9.30 pm
