Graduates of the August NH Sale make their mark on the Eventing Field
Thoroughbreds continuously make their mark on the Eventing field producing the results that count time and time again and this week, the August NH Sale will offer three and four-year-olds that can be considered as eventing potentials. The sale takes place over two days, Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August commencing at 11am both days.
In 2018, Gemma Tattersall produced a fantastic result at Badminton when August NH Sale graduate ARCTIC SOUL (pictured below) finished in 4th place. The Luso gelding consistently performs and produces top placing results, costing just €15,000 when purchased at the August NH Sale.
MOONFLEET was also purchased at Tattersalls Ireland as a four-year-old and went on to win two of the most recognised three-day-events on the calendar, Badminton and Burghley.
Top international rider and course designer Ian Stark OBE frequently attends the August NH Sale and has purchased some very successful and potential eventer types. Commenting on his most recent August NH Sale purchase, he said,
“The horse I bought at the Tattersalls Ireland August NH Sale has grown two inches and has turned into a very exciting prospect. He is very correct in all paces with a good basic jump and great temperament and was bought at a sensible price. He has moved on to a very promising young rider to event.”
