Traditionally bred Irish Sport Horse 🇨🇮
Tomboy has been slowly and carefully with her future longevity in mind.
She has enjoyed a varied education and has competed in One Day Events, Two Phase Competitions and Showjumped up to 100cm.
Tomboy has competed in a Young Event Horse League and at last years Millstreet International Horse Show in both the showjumping rings and the young event horse class.
She won the 95cm league final at Clare EC and placed at 90cm level One Day Events having jumped skinnies, water, ditches, brush fences a key hole and much more.
Tomboy has enjoyed some hunting outings with the Grallagh Harriers(stonewalls) and even visited a pack in Cork and crossed banks and drains proving herself to be incredibly brave, clever and totally unfased crossing any country.
She rides beautifully on the flat and is always ridden in a snaffle for every discipline.
She has been on numerous forestry and beach rides (ridden by our 13 year old son) and happily hacks solo or in company, she’ll go first or last without a second thought and is happy to ride and lead another horse or a child on a pony.
We bought Tomboy as a yearling directly from her breeder so her full history is known. She has been reared on a small private family yard and is handled and ridden daily by our children.
