Description

INTRODUCING ANNIE – YOUR NEXT FOREVER SCHOOLMASTER

Beautiful, brave, and bursting with Connemara charisma—meet Annie, a truly captivating schoolmaster whose presence alone turns heads. Exceptionally elegant and strikingly typey, she was awarded top marks at inspection and embodies everything one hopes for in a show‑stopping Connemara mare.

Despite her regal looks, Annie is a heartwarming partner to handle. Riders new to schooling adore her, and her kind, patient nature makes her a dream for development. She’s calm, cooperative, and always keen to please, never ripe for drama or fuss—she simply doesn’t want to put a foot wrong.

Annie has proven herself across multiple disciplines. She’s competed confidently in working hunter classes and unaffiliated showjumping, showing admirable poise and capability. She’s equally at ease out on the open road, happily hacking alone or in company. She’s even enjoyed jaunts to the beach, breezing through waves with a calm confidence that speaks volumes about her character.

Her pedigree is nothing short of impressive. She is by Banagher de Bergeron, a Connemara stallion whose lines include Poetic Justice, a licensed Connemara stallion born in 1988 by Ballydonagh Cassanova out of Gloves Misty. Poetic Justice competed in showjumping up to 140 cm against horses and became a popular sire of performance ponies—with several of his progeny representing at European Championships.

On her dam side, Annie descends from Calla Boy, another influential Connemara stallion (born circa 1976, grey), sired by Dun Aengus and out of Sliabh na mBan II. Stallions like Calla Boy’s descendants, such as Mulroy Bay, trace lineage back to this line—valuable for preserving genetic diversity.

Collectively, Annie carries bloodlines steeped in athleticism, classic type, and trustworthy temperaments—a legacy of Connemara excellence.

Annie comes fully vetted, with a recently passed five‑stage vetting and is open to any re‑vetting for your peace of mind. She’s sound, healthy, honest, and ready to step into a new chapter with a rider or family that values quality, consistency, and affection.

Adding that final touch of reassurance, the price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK—and if for any reason you’re not completely happy once you meet her, I offer an exchange to ensure you’re entirely satisfied.

Scroll down to watch her video, and see for yourself how gracefully she moves, how softly she packs, and how effortlessly she adapts. Annie isn’t just a pony; she’s a companion for growth, learning, and lifelong partnership.
