Heathermore Stud plans to breed and sell Irish Sport horses intended for showjumping and Eventing. In selecting our breeding stock and running our breeding program, we will use the principles developed by Italian breeder Federico Tesio, one of the greatest horse breeders of all time.
Our ultimate goal is to breed a line of sporthorses so unique and promote it so effectively that customers will be willing to pay a premium. Our long-term objective is to build a market that is not entirely based on price. Our unique features will include lots of handling and unusual but exceptional bloodlines (i.e. from Ireland, Germany and Holland)
Heathermore Stud has built up considerable experience and contacts during the last 20 year and has built a broodmare herd which have all been presented for inspection to Horse Sport Ireland and have all recieved "Select Status" due to their of offsprings performance and their proven showjumping and eventing performance genetics. Knowledge of mixing this unique pool of genetics with proven Irish and international performance stallions has yielded several sucesses both at home and internationally
