Description
Reluctant sale of a special pony with a bright future ahead.
5 year old Connemara pony currently standing at 14.1hh. All class 1 breeding.
This pony has been a dream to produce, he has an exceptional temperment and is bursting with talent.
He is brave, athletic, confident and careful.
He has been in the same home since he was 3 year old and has never put a foot wrong. We have slowly and carefully produced this pony with plenty of time off to develop and mature.
Has competed at 2 Unaffiliated ODE 90s at Lisgarvan with ease. Consistantly clear Xc and produces a lovely dressage test. He has been showjumping up to 1m and schooling 1.10m at home and currently popping around 90cm for fun.
Placed 2nd in Stepping Stones qualifier, scoring 9s in dressage tests.
He is the ultimate ‘Pocket Rocket’ with a powerful engine and clever brain.
Hacks alone or in company and is used to farm machine. Very sensible and level headed pony. He has been to the beach and has always behaved perfectly on any outings. Currently ridden in a rubber snaffle. Handled regularly by very small children and is a gentleman in every way.
This pony is not a novice ride. He is a competition pony and a blood pony. He will only be sold to a knowledgable experience home where he can continue to excel. He will require a confident, capable and quiet rider. Ideally would suit a competent rider who is looking to produce a young pony to the top level. In return this pony will give so much back to his rider and will excel in any competitive field be it Eventing, Showjumping or Performance / Working Hunter type pony.
We will happily continue to produce this pony until the correct partnership is found.
