Description
Newbie is a smashing 16.3 gelding. He is 10 yrs old and I’ve owned him 2 and a half years.
He has hunted, evented, Sj, done working hunter and showing classes. He is eligible for Racehorse to Riding horse classes.
He is the most laid back and cool individual and is a lovely horse to have around the yard. He’s easy to handle in every way. Doesn’t need to be ridden every day, he can be left off all week and you can just get up and go.
He has evented up to 1m in Eventing Ireland, he usually does a nice enough dressage test without too much hardship, he cruises around the XC no problem with water, ditches, coffins etc.
He has a huge amount of scope and talent and would easily jump 1m10 tracks.
He has done some hunting! Not a huge amount but has always been well behaved and easy to manage on the hunting field. Will go away from the field, jump in front etc no problem.
He hacks alone and in company and generally a bomb could go off beside him and he wouldn’t notice. He would suit most type of riders, ideal for a tall teenager to go out and have fun on! Or an amateur rider looking for their forever horse.
This is a very sad sale, I actually don’t want to sell him but due to unforseen circumstances I have to sell him. Therefore the price is negotiable to the right home.
He’s easy to shoe,clip and load, will pretty much load himself. We’re based an hour north of Dublin airport nr Slane, Co Meath.
