It’s with heavy hearts that we offer Sky, our beloved all-rounder pony, for sale. We’ve had Sky since she was just 4 years old, when she had only done a little hacking and light arena work. Since then, she’s been carefully and lovingly produced by our daughter, growing up together over the past four years.
Sky has done it all – from Pony Club to showjumping, eventing, working hunter, pony games, camps, hunter trials, and beach rides. She’s also enjoyed countless hacks, bareback adventures, and trips to the sea, where she’s happy to swim and splash in the waves, unfazed by the excitement around her.
She’s an absolute pleasure to handle and be around – easy to groom, tack up, box, clip, and shoe. She thrives on attention, loves a good ear scratch during grooming, and gets along well with other horses and ponies. Sky is safe, sane, and sensible – with no vices. She’s never bucked, reared, or napped, and is a genuine confidence-giver for any rider.
Sky is ridden in a loose ring snaffle and standard cavesson in all disciplines. She’s brave and honest cross-country, and has competed at working hunter and agricultural shows, as well as national Pony Club events in dressage, games, eventing, and showjumping – both individually and in pairs.
She’s sure-footed and reliable hacking out, happy to lead or follow, and steady in traffic, open fields, forestry, or the beach. Whether you’re galloping with friends or heading out alone, Sky stays calm and composed.
This pony has been a huge part of our family, and selling her is an emotional decision. Our daughter has sadly outgrown her and now has limited time due to school commitments. We are looking for a five-star home where Sky will be loved and appreciated as much as she has been with us.
Sky is a rare find – a true all-rounder with a golden temperament, and ready to give another child the same joy, confidence, and partnership she gave ours.
