Monty – Smashing 15.2hh 5 year old gelding TIH.
Traditional Irish Horse ( Cooloo Crest X Haraquan X Manduro. ) Bloodline goes back to Sir Rivie & Sea crest, good breeding for Monty to go into any sphere when produced further to his capability.
Was broken as a 4 year old, and has been produced on by a 14yo girl.
Super sane and sensible boy, old head on young shoulders you could say.
Hasn’t been over faced, just been hunting for one season and has been to beach rides.
Monty is green on his flatwork as he hasn’t done much but a very quick learner.
Nothing phases him and he is very willing and does what you ask.
Hacks alone or in company. Bombproof around traffic/machinery.
He is straight and correct. No lumps, bumps or vices.
Is the most mannerly boy on the ground, he’s very sweet. Could be out for a month and hop on straight away no rearing/bucking.
Would suit a child coming off ponies/ a more competitive rider to go up the levels or a Mother/Daughter share. He is very versatile.

Nagero Sport Horses is very much a family based business and was set up to promote the Irish horse as a leading athlete and competitor but also to promote it's all round appeal to the leisure rider. We guarantee everything we sell that it is suitable for purpose and is described accurately. We also promote and advertise horses for clients that we have a trustworthy relationship with. I am BHS and HSI qualified and have been riding since the age of six. I have coached, taught, competed in show jumping, dressage and eventing, run yards and worked in racing for many years. I still ride but rarely have the time to compete anymore. Passionate about retraining of racehorses and have always promoted their use as an all-round riding horse. I am also a registered social worker. Emma is also BHS qualified and show jumping is her passion. Emma spent 3yrs training in 3 of Ireland’s top showjumping yards. She is great at producing young horses ready for the start of their careers. Emma has backed all of our home bred horses, from the age of 12.
