Description
Paddy is a smashing Connemara gelding by Lonsdale Legend. He is 10 yrs old. He has been in the same home for 5 years and was brought on and competed by his current teenage rider who is now moving on. He is 15.1
He is very easy to do and easy to ride. Rides in a snaffle. Has pony clubbed and taken part in the John Ledingham. He has competed in the SJI up to 1m. Competition name is Mollys Boy.
He has hunter trialled and taken part in some unaffiliated eventing. He is the perfect small horse for a lady or teenager.
Hunted with several packs, currently hunting with myself in the Louth Hunt and have found him to be straightforward out hunting. Keen but perfectly manageable. Jumped ditches, uprights and gates no problem.
Easy to shoe, clip and load. Turns out with other horses no problem.
His full brother Legends Mate was champion Working Hunter Connemara 5-7 yr olds in 2018.
Unfortunately he has very mild sweetitch whichh would be v easily managed with a fly rug and fly spray but he has such a super temperament that you’d forgive this.
He is on sales livery with me on behalf of his owners. He has been in the same home for the past 5 yrs. Price Negotiatiable to the right home.
