Castleturvin Archie B
Rising 6, 2017 15.1hh Homebred bay gelding by Amigo B (by Heartbreaker) out of a Quilca Silver CP mare. Carefully produced from the age of 4 to 5 with notable results in SJI, Eventing Ireland events and Combined Training. This very correct, straight horse has no vices and is good to do everything with (box, shoe etc). He is a very careful safe horse who looks after his pilot; particularly cross country, and would suit a capable rider coming off ponies. At present he is hunting in East Galway; and is proving to be very agile and brave over varied country. This horses achievements and experience to date include:
• 15 SJI points from a relatively small number of outings 2021 and 2022 competing up to 1m
• Cavan Young Rider 90cm Championship -4th overall August 2021 as a four year old.
Combined Training League Milchem 2022 placed 2nd and 4th in two legs
Western Region Starter Stakes 2022- placed 5th in a qualifier in the 5 year old class, and subsequently qualified for the final for which there were only 20 spots.
Evented at EI90 in the following venues Hillcrest, Crecora, Rosanna, Punchestown, Kilguilkey and Lisgarvan (as part of a regional team which placed 7th in the National Championships)
Placed 5th in Hillcrest finishing on dressage, and in top 10 in Punchestown and Kilguilkey. He has been clear cross country in every event competed at bar two.
HSI and Eventing Ireland Autumn Development Series two legs- 3rd and 5th 90cm
