✨5 year old Connemara Mare by Dooneen Supermatch✨
Silver is a future superstar in the making! Her sire is Dooneen Supermatch and the Dam is Beechmount Diana.
Silver is a lovely classic style 5 year old Mare. She is 14.2. She is working very sweetly on the flat and has three easy paces, carries herself very well and has a real willingness to learn.
Silver is currently jumping around a small course of 1.15m to 1.20m and is showing great promise for the future. She is nice and forwarding going and shows great technique over the fences.
Silver has went to pony club events and was very well behaved at these outings. She hacks alone or in company on the road and in open fields without problems.
This stunning mare has a great temperament and is easy to do in every way. She is easy to shoe, wash, load, clip.
She would make a great showjumping pony, eventing, pony club or and all round excellent pony.
Silver would also make a perfect family pony as she could be ridden by both older and younger members of the family due to her brilliant temperament.
She is open to any vetting.
Transport can be arranged to anywhere.

They are known for their athleticism, versatility and good disposition. The Connemara is best known today as a sports pony. Ridden by both children and adults, it is considered to be a very versatile pony breed, competitive in show jumping, dressage and eventing, but also with the stamina for endurance riding. Although the Connemara pony as we know it is officially a native breed of our country, its origins are mainly from Scandinavia and Spain. In 795 AD, an earlier version of the breed was among the many things the Vikings brought with them to Ireland, but it wasn’t until the Spanish Armada ran aground in 1588 that the Connemara pony was formed. When the Spanish sailors of the armada unexpectedly found themselves in Galway in 1588 their Andalusian horses were set loose and began to breed with the wild Scandinavian ponies in the Connemara mountains. A new breed was born, bringing with it some of the best qualities of the two parent breeds. The Connemara pony is Ireland’s only native breed, with a history that some believe dates back to the ancient Celts. The Celts, who were skilled horsemen, developed the Pony from Scandinavian ponies that the Vikings first brought to Ireland.
