Description
Danio VB Z is an 8 year old bay gelding, standing about 172cm.
He is by De Flor 111 Z, and his dam Wokina (jumped 1.50m) is by Darco. He has numerous relatives competing at the top level in showjumping, including his brother Janus VB (1.60m, with Anthony Bourquard), and his sister Flying Girl (1.55m, with Simone Mortier).
We bought Danio as a 3 year old, and he has been broken and produced carefully with us to this day. He has been ridden by both an amateur girl and also a professional man.
He is the epitome of a genuine gentle giant, he has the kindest nature and he loves to please his people. He does not stop, buck, rear, bolt or do anything of the sort.
Danio is always the yard favorite and is very used to dogs and small children.
Danio has competed at and achieved some competitive placings at 1.35m GP level. He has tons of show experience, and even spent 7 weeks at The Sunshine Tour in Vejer as a 6 year old.
He is a pleasure to have at home or away at a show. He will happily hack alone or in company too, and doesn’t get silly fresh after time off.
Danio is a stylish amateur’s dream horse, and would suit anyone from a tall kid to an older hobby rider.
A 5* home (forever ideally) is paramount for this very special horse.
Danio has no vices or bad habits, is in perfect health, and is regularly maintained by the farrier, dentist, and physio.
