Meet Kilcoran King. 6yr old 16.1hh Gelding. King started his ridden life being used for riding club throughout the summer and hunting during the winter. He did some low level affiliated jumping in his 4/5yr old years. He moved on up the levels this year. Rarely having a pole down from day one King has worked his way to jumping placing 3rd in a very competitive 1.20m and competing in the boomerang in Millstreet International. His record speaks for itself as he rarely has a pole down. His array of double clears shows his talent, ride-ability and exceptionally good brain.

Fantastic breeding – by Atomic Cruise by a Mise Eire Dam. Full sister is competing in CSI* 1.30m level in the UK and Europe! Atomic Cruise himself is by Cruising out of a Clover Hill Dam. The breeding speaks for itself!

An overview of King in the last year – Hunted with north mayo harries from November through until Febuary. He won the Crossmolina spring league at 1.m. He was Second in the 1.10 final. He had a very impressive 8 double clears prior to the final. He had double clear rounds at 1m/ 1.10m and 1.20m at tubberbride stables league. He was 1st in the 1.10m ballina agricultural show . Was 4th in the Louisbourgh show with less than a second between 1st and 4th.
Granard agricultural show he won the 6bar competition at height of 1.63m. Also 4th in the 1.10m.
In Millstreet International he moved up to 1.20m and was 3rd in a very competitive 1.20 . Also competed in the boomerang.

With another few 1.20s under his belt he will be more then ready to move up to 1.30s. Very good 6yr Old who is not only versatile but a real talented boy who wants to please in everything he does. Scope for the big classes for sure. Would make an exceptional horse for the 1.30 young riders next year and is a great candidate for the 7/8yr old age classes. Would easily switch to eventing if required or could be used as an exceptionally good hunter/riding club horse. Not often you find one who can do it all.

Youtube video flatwork –
Needless to say this boy is a sweetheart on the ground, hacks alone and in company, mannerly at all times.

No vices, lumps, bumps etc.

Open to full vetting and xrays at the buyers expense.
International Transport easily arranged worldwide.

Nagero Sport Horses is very much a family based business and was set up to promote the Irish horse as a leading athlete and competitor but also to promote it's all round appeal to the leisure rider. Our ethos is the same as the Irish Horse Gateway to promote and advertise through social media to a World Wide audience. We guarantee everything we sell that it is suitable for purpose and is described accurately. We also promote and advertise horses for clients that we have a trustworthy relationship with. If we don't have what you want we can source it for you! We have many contacts throughout Ireland and often hear of horses that aren't even advertised on the open market so it is always worth getting in touch either by email or phone if you are looking for something specific. We also offer Sales Livery for selling through ourselves or preparation for National Sales so please do get in touch if you think we can help you in any way. I am BHS and HSI qualified and have been riding since the age of six. I have coached, taught, competed in show jumping, dressage and eventing, run yards and worked in racing for many years. I still ride but rarely have the time to compete anymore, although that is on the agenda time permitting. Passionate about retraining of racehorses and have always promoted their use as an all-round riding horse. I am also a registered social worker. I have a large family and they all play their part. Tom is the work horse! Makes all the hay and does the farming side of things and is always the one we call on for long reining the unbroken youngsters. We also call him the Transport Manager as he does all the hauling around. Tom has ridden all his life but now prefers to stay on the ground! Emma is 27 and is also BHS qualified and show jumping is her passion. Emma spent 3yrs training in 3 of Ireland’s top showjumping yards. She is great at producing young horses ready for the start of their careers. Emma has backed all of our home bred horses, from the age of 12. Ritchie is 19 years old and also works in racing in Johnny Murtagh's yard and is hoping to get his conditional licence in the near future. Ritchie backs some of the ponies when he is at home as he is small and light. Lucy-Jane is 14 years old and is simply horse mad. Another show jumping fan and produces all the young ponies for us. Lucy-Jane is intending to begin her BHS exams when time permits. Lucy-Jane also backs the small ponies with bruises to show for it and is a member of the Duhallow Pony Club!
