5 year old Dapple grey 16.3h Registered Irish Draught by Breeda Mountain (sire of 2no. HOYS winners, by Rockrimmon Silver diamond), out of Derrynagarra Bliss (by Sir Rivie ex Derrynagarra Clorin-by Crosstown Dancer). Sir Rivie jumped to 1m30 and was by the Seacrest, sire of Cruising. Derrynagarra Bliss and her dam Derrynagarra Clorin were both prolific winners in the showring.
Superb temperament, a horse the whole family can ride while being well capable of winning in almost any equestrian discipline.
Campaigned successfully during 2023 over the following competitions;
Showing and working hunter classes with many successes over few outings during two seasons. The only clear round in his working hunter class at this year’s Sceilig showing festival. Placed and one of very few clears in 4/5yo Irish Draught Working Hunter at IDHBA national show 2023. Reserve champion Irish draught of Cork Show 2022.
Competed in two Eventing Ireland ODEs this year; EI80T, EI90T, clear XC both days.
Hillcrest Arena Eventing 2023 90cm, clear over 28 fences.
3no,SJI points up to 90cm.
Competed clear rounds in interschools competition.
Competed in 2023 RDS qualifiers in Forth Mountain, Scarteen and Tullylish with good placings every day. Next to qualify from his class in Scarteen, with a 6th placing of 19 entrants. Well prepared for RDS qualifiers 2024.
Hunted on 5 occasions with Killeagh Harriers (Co.Cork), happy to go first or last! Loves hunting!
Super on beach and in water!
Lovely to ride on the flat or over jumps. Always tries. Jumped competitively up to 95cm this year. Plenty of scope to jump much higher. Superb temperament, a real family horse, very safe, never over fresh, snaffle mouth, no vices, good to clip, load, dentist etc. Vaccinations up to date.
