‘Silver’ (registered name Laoire Abu) is a 7yo Grey Connemara Gelding by Currachmore Cashel.

Silver is a great all round pony for someone with experience who wants to be competitive and get out and about with a new partner. He is careful, but will forgive his rider.

What Silver has done:
He has competed with the SJI and has 74 points (Grade C), up to 1.10m. He enjoys getting out and about and having something to do.
Silver has excellent flatwork and has completed some dressage this year. He rides on the bridle without much difficulty. Great canter.
Has done some combined training shows this year.
Silver competed in the 5/6yo RDS Performance Connemara Qualifier in Rincoola in 2019, and jumped clear. His dressage has since improved and he would be a real contender for this class in future.
Silver has been schooled cross country but is still a little green in this discipline.

Silver would make a great pony club show jumper, working hunter pony, inter schools pony, or could continue to improve at the higher levels of jumping.

About Silver:
Same home since 2yo.
Straight and correct confirmation, no lumps, bumps or scars.
Silver needs a competent rider as he can sometimes be spooky. Would not be a beginner’s pony. The better the rider, the more potential he has.
He rides in a snaffle and flash, and jumps in a martingale. Doesn’t get strong.
Hacks alone, doesn’t mind traffic.
Will live out or in.
Loads, shoes and clips easily (had had full head and legs clipped). Good manners.
Vaccinated, teeth done June 2020.
Clean set of screening X-rays completed in late 2018.
No known vices.
Measured 147cm in 2018 and 2019 and 148cm in 2020. Needs one more measurement to have a lifetime measurement.
Open to vetting at buyer’s expense.

Breeding: Full Connemara. Sire: Currachmore Cashel, Sire of Dam: Oisin

SJI Record:

Rincoola Results: (Section B)

Priced in high four figures.
Serious enquiries only, no timewasters. This is a quality, good looking, nice moving pony who has been well produced over time and price reflects that.
