Description
Milly is a beautiful 11YO Class 1 Connemara Mare by Newgrange Dancer X Ashfield Romeo. She has been with us for 3 years and was brought on and competed by her current teenage rider who is now moving on and regularly schooled by a professional rider.
She is a 14.2 all rounder who has competed in Pony Club in the past, some SJI and for the past 3 years unregistered Show jumping, Eventing and XC events at Killossery Lodge Stud which is her home for the past 6 years.
She has been successfully jumping 70,80,90 with her current novice rider in leagues and has competed 1m, 1.10m with previous owners. Current teenage rider has physically outgrown her and sadly moving on.
She is very safe, never bucks or spooks, but not a beginner ride, more for an advancing novice / amateur pony club / eventing, the perfect pony for a lady or Junior Rider looking to come on.
She has an extremely calm and friendly temperament in and out of her box, easy to shoe, clip and load. Travels alone or in company and has been to beaches and hacks alone or in company.
Turns out with other horses no problem and is a joy to be around. She is turned out to a paddock every day throughout the year.
She has always been maintained to highest standards with vet inspections, vaccines, physio massage and dental. Diet is perfect with no colic’s or digestive issues ever.
Her Bridal, bit and Saddle were matched perfectly to her needs by professional fitters to ensure her comfort and rideability.
